In the Danziger Bridge case, 10 police officers gunned down civilians in the days after Katrina, then concocted an elaborate cover-up. This month’s guilty verdicts give momentum to a larger effort by the federal government to reform the city’s police department from top to bottom.

- Me: "I love Nigella Bites!!!"
- Jay: "The British girl?"
- Me: "Yes! I'm always glued to her show!"
- Jay: "That's cause she's the Queen of Food Porn..."
- Me: O_O
- I knew no such thing! O.O
I was thinking about where my love of cooking came from and I realized that I was intrigued by Nigella Bites. Her real name is Nigella Lawson. She’s this TV chef from the UK. Anyways, I was 10 or 11 or so and I was watching TV. We finally had cable at my house. I was breezing through the channels and I came across an all day marathon of her cooking. She made this blackened beef thing and I fell in LOVE with the way she made food look so easy. It kind of opened my eyes to different cooking and made me curious.
Now, this 24 year old culinary graduate, still makes all the recipes from the show Nigella Bites. I hope to one day make someone that interested in the food I make.
My lunch for today. Steam-fried fish with arugula salad, wonton soup with bean noodles and spinach, a plum and a Guiness. Yums!
